KWin6 copies a few of the more annoying default behaviours from MSWin11, when you move a window close to a screen edge. Or resize: the full-height, full-width or fullscreen WM states will be enabled when you resize a window to the corresponding size manually. For the moving one can turn off the behaviour in a settings panel that's labelled "screen edges" or something of the sort. I'm not convinced you can turn off the corresponding behaviour when resizing (it's harder to check in any case). I helped fix a window management bug in Firefox using a recent Tumbleweed LiveCD with a recent Plasma6/X11. Didn't like the new quirks and I think I'd be pretty compelled to build an older KWin5... Case in point: KWin5 had an action to open a dialog with all the KWin control modules, right in the window titlebar menu. That has gone, and those settings are all over the place in the system-settings app. R.
