No, just a newer version of ndiswrapper than was shipped in the kernel. So, 
someone with an SMP machine with a wireless card should test with the current 
cooker kernel, or dkms-ndiswrapper.

I might be able to do this (with dkms-ndiswrapper) on my box at home (running 
2006.0 with a wifi card whose "native" drivers are pretty unstable when doing 
Ad-hoc).
