Hi!

 The next -uc for i386 is already available at:

http://distro2.conectiva.com.br/~lcapitulino/mdv_kernels/uc/2.6.12.20.uc2mdk/

 and will be available for x86_64 in the next hours at:

http://tmb.kkc.fi/Kernels/2006.0/x86_64/

 its changelog is:

* Wed Apr 20 2006 Luiz Capitulino <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 2.6.12-20.uc2mdk
  o Luiz Capitulino <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
    - Enables kprobes on i386 and x86_64 (those are the architectures I know
      it works)
    - USB: remove __init from usb_console_setup(), it prevents an OOPs when
      booting with 'console=ttyUSB0' but without a USB-serial dongle plugged
    - Security fixes:
      * ZZA5_CVE-2006-1525_ip_route_panic_fix.patch
      * ZZA6_CVE-2006-0744_EM64T_sysret_fix.patch

  o Arnaud Patard <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
    - Fix media change detection on scsi removable devices.

 As you can see, nothing too big has changed and the number of changes is
really small.

 On the other hand, the EM64T security fix changes code used by any x86_64
machine and it's really worth to test it (you have only to install the
kernel and report anything strange, as usual).

 Yes, unfortunally #21345 wasn't fixed yet. One reason is that we (the kernel
team) are still discussing its introduction into 2006.0 because it may
brake things (it's not totally clear to me which things, but well..); other
important reason is that I had important security fixes to work on.

 The really bad news is that I think it won't be possible to fix #21345
for -20mdk because I don't want to hold this kernel for more than 2 weeks.
I'll update the ticket with this info soon.

 Thanks,
