Hi, I'll list the possible patches that i removed from the patches directory to make it work: maybe you can give me pointers on which ones to test out.
the problem is the following: the AHCI driver is loaded ok, and the scanning a boot time works also, but when a SATA device is detected, and it tries an IDENTIFY thing, there's some irq error and the IDENTIFY fails (there's mention of this in dmesg, but i cannot find it, since this is the 2.6.17-5mdv installation kernel...) NOTE: after a second look, it seems that i didn't actually remove any patches in the patches subdir, but that i only removed some lines in the series file in that directory... please tell me that this doesn't mean that all patches in that directory are applied.... ? mvg, 2006/11/6, Luiz Fernando N.
