If you use Edge you can submit the signature for review...which I've tried.
Yea we added my code signing certificate from Certum (Trusted CA) because Windows was flagging the downloads initially under SmartScreen but a purple message. After adding the code signing, it became a red message. It literally is dumb. So much for code signing certificates. I think it would be happier with a EV certificate but I don't have one. I also know Windows 10 got a lot more aggressive than Windows 8/7.
