Just a few houghts, your original problem occurred when you attempted an
online price update, but with the debug info, it appears to crash
straight away.
Go through the debug starting routine, but for the last line, add '-n', so
"c:\Program Files (x86)\KMyMoney\bin\kmymoney.exe" -n
This should start KMM without attempting to load your data file. If it
still crashes the same way, you've just wasted a couple of minutes.
Next, can you remove or rename c:\temp\kmm-debug-info, and run KMM as
above, then load your data file, and check if it otherwise appears to
work correctly. When you do the price update, you may get some useful
console output, or not.
When you tried the suggested new price regex, did KMM produce any
dialogs before the crash?

There are two files - the one with debug info in name.
I did a search for kmymoney on windows and from there went to sourceforge. I'd
seen it there yesterday, but had to do a little searching to get to it.
