--- Comment #497 from Martin Renvoize (ashimema) <[email protected]> --- I have also added a follow-up that takes a different approach to printing notices that were sent by email or sms: "Convert to print" (in the actions column and the modal, on the Notices management page and on the patron's Notices tab) queues a new pending print notice from a new notice, CONVERTED_TO_PRINT. It adds the patron's and the library's address and a note saying the original was sent, or could not be sent, by email or sms, before the original content, and marks the original as `converted` (a new status). We can't regenerate the notice from its original variables, as they aren't kept, so the wrapper reuses the stored content. Libraries can edit the notice in Notices and slips. The "Print" action is kept as well, for example to hand a notice to a patron who is at the library. Andrew, would you prefer this flow? If so, we could limit the direct Print to print notices. The patches are the "converted status", "Automated Schema Update" and "Convert notices to print notices" attachments at the end of the series. The patch asking for confirmation before marking as printed has been re-attached, rebased on top of them, and is still the last one so it can be dropped on its own. Aside: 'print' as a notice transport type is arguably misnamed, it means mail or snail-mail. Renaming it would be a much bigger change than this bug, so I'm just noting it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. _______________________________________________ Koha-bugs mailing list -- [email protected] To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] website : http://www.koha-community.org/ git : http://git.koha-community.org/ bugs : http://bugs.koha-community.org/
