Don't expect that flash card to last very long. Yuor typical flash device has a longetivity of about 10K write cycles -- this can be destroyed in even a couple days.
Not new information, but not a problem for me as I would be glad to replace it frequently, to keep the performance boost out of it. I try to update something on this computer every 2 months or so. The last one was working at 6+ months and was one I was using for my camera, I dont know how Linux would treat this, I'd kinda expect it to be better at this as the swap is a partition vs a file and Ill assume windows at least did ?something? to check every now and then. I got a 4gb when compusa was selling them cheap towards the end of the La Mesa, Ca store I took advantage of waiting until it was actually cheap.
