Ooh, I can join in with the C++ hostility :-)

In some sense, I'm in the worse position as a corporate Linux kernel
developer.  For the most part, I have to deal with what comes at me from
above while we make our small changes.  But, the incorporation of much of
the culture and philosophy from general Linux kernel development has
definitely been a boost to our group.  Some of that just comes from trying
to convince people that you really need to have another set of eyes look at
your code before you check it in.

I have seen issue tracking systems go horribly wrong.  In this case, the
solution needs to be to replace the tracking system.  There isn't much
point in moving to a tracking system that makes things worse than a manual
system would.
