Because you stink. You may not realize it but you seriously do. And every time you walk by my desk after a smoke break I want to hurl.
CA license? Would not an international drivers license do? Or what if I'm from out of state and haven't gotten my CA license yet? "Legal to drive" seems like a more sensible requirement.
I don't recall what the reasoning was for this but it has been discussed on this list at least once before and probably even in response to a previous posting of Michael's.
