Just as a sanity check, it is possible to retry the same kickstart on another IDE-MoBo, and maybe with same/more RAM?
RedHat has run this kickstart (although the same happens with a manual install so kickstart itself is irrelevant) in a virtual machine with both more and less RAM and it always worked fine. I have used this same kickstart before to install many similar machines. I even used it on a different model of Via mobo when I was at DrJays a year ago and it worked fine.
