And of course this does not mean that lawyers do believe that it is possible. The wikipedia entry says that "the law is somewhat unclear". In my dealings with lawyers it seems that they hate anything unclear except where it allows them their needed wiggle room. I tend to agree with Chris that it is likely less trouble to just stick a GPL on it and call it good.
