I like George's idea but would like to propose an extension to the concept. I'd like to see the distro being Edubuntu and along with the Starter Kit docs, There would be a document describing setting up a LTSP client/server setup for a school lab and based on Edubuntu's LTSP package.
If we find a school looking for a lab setup, we could implement the package and help support it. The hope is that not only do we provide a good education based computer Starter Kit, we also provide a means for schools to use that same product to extend learning into a thin-client training configuration.
