I was thinking of Josh's once discussed idea but just remembered his
Kid v.095 project... oops.   Maybe KPLUG as Jim mentioned.

One thing is that Ubuntu installs into Windows via Wubi and Open Office 
disk has Windows versions too.

I know that if you know someone inside, Fox 6 does do bits on open source
software. I know because I was in one of them when they did a piece on the
Computers 2 San Diego Kids project. We were installing Ubuntu on donated
PC's and distributing them out to needy families. I've got the video if anyone
wants to see it to believe it. ;-)

I believe TV/Press can be arranged. I've done it for a product I once
manufactured
and got free TV air time and magazine space. I think this could attract interest
for at the very least a Friday evening spot and probably a signonsandiego/
UnionTrib article.
