All's needed would be the accessory shoe and the external mic so the sound quality was there. Close up is fine but get 10' out and a mic is a must for a quality video. dvdgrab and Kino work great at getting the video off the camera and simple editing done. mencoder does the conversion to flv for browser viewing. ie, we should have all the parts to do this except the plan details.
