A joke comes to mind about a mathematician, an engineer, and a
beautiful woman. The mathematician and engineer are told that they
can advance towards the woman, but each move can only ever be one half
of the distance to the woman.
The mathematician complains that, mathematically, only being able to
advance one half of the distance at any time means he'll never really
get there.
The engineer chuckles, and says, "Yeah, but I'll get close enough."
