That's nice that you're trying to control spam, but when a user of
yours signs up for a MAILING LIST, this is unacceptable.

You're filling up OUR server, and ALL our users with your verification requests.

Please find out who has signed up for the
[email protected] mailing list via the
http://www.kernel-panic.org website and chastise THEM about it and
have them sign up with an account that does NOT require verification.
