Mark, can you elaborate on the statement that birch is required rather than mahogany. My plans say "3 ply mahogany, birch or poplar center" on page 19. I bought mahogany with a poplar center. That is the only thing in the Wicks catalog that I was completely sure was in accordance with what was asked for.
Who said anything about cedar? The only thing we use that for around here is the bottom of my son's hamster cage.
