Just so this won't be a waste of bandwidth, my brakes had been sitting
empty for something like 8 years. I bought a cheap oilcan from WallyMarts,
and with the help of some plastic tubing, fully charged my brakes in about
30 pumps, from the bottom up. The pedal has been rock hard ever since
(three whole months!)...
