Well there's your answer.  There's no substitute for a longer horizontal 
stabilizer or a longer fuselage, when it comes to an improvement in a KR. 
The longer h/s would be a simple fix for a regular KR2.  There are a few 
pictures of Troy's during "enhancement" at 
http://home.hiwaay.net/~langford/troy/ .  He added the extensions using 
carbon fiber, without any internal wooden support, if I remember correctly.
