Good thought. It looks okay on the undersurfaces, can barely see the spar
outlines. On the top, both wing spars are clearly outlined and the rudder
post and Horiz stab and elevator spars are neatly visible. Even the trim
motor buried in the stab is markedly outlined. All this happened in the past
two weeks. Can't blame the sun. We have had two weeks of cold weather. I
confess I did not paint the plane white. It is battleship grey and I
wondered if the sun would affect it. My ribs are buried under the outer wing
skin and there is no visible problems there. Oh well, back to the drawing
board! Did want to do major changes to it this winter anyway.
Anyone out there have a sonerai canopy for sale? Or similar? One of the
changes I want to do is have a long canopy so that when I opened it I could
see my baggage compartment and inner rear fuselage as well as the back of
the instrument panel. I have a stretched KR2 narrowed down to one seat.
