Yes you do need aileron push rods from the bell crank to the control horn.
This is what I made mine from:
R1/2x.035-41 Steel Tube ( three feet will be more than enough)
MW-4 1/4" Rod End Bearings (qty 4)
AN940HT8P Threaded Rod Ends (qty 4)
You will cut the steel tube to the length needed then insert one threaded
rod end into each end of the tube. The tube and end is then drilled and
riveted in place. Some folks have these welded. The rod end bearings thread
onto the threaded rod ends. Alas, you have a push/pull tube.
