Phil, By "fiddly", do you mean difficult to use? I am thinking about getting an XCom, but it is basically the same. I like it better, because it has a built in intercom., which I may never use, it I don't get these hours flown off, so I can carry passengers. I can't understand why they don't offer the same radio in a 3 1/8 user interface, to make it easier to use and to read the screen. I have asked them, but no reply.
