Yes and that is described in the text on my web site. However, if you attach 
the device to the heater and have absolutely no open space between the 
heater and the device, the device will act as a venturi and increase the air 
flow significantly which will in turn pull the flames all the way through 
the piping and out the end. This, if attached to your plane like that, would 
without a doubt, catch your airplane on fire. With the device freestanding, 
you are able to adjust the amount of heat you want simply by how close you 
place the device to the mouth of the heater. An 8 to 10 inch distance seems 
to work really well. Not too hot - not too cold.
