My understanding is the T-88 is a 50/50 mix and was verified by the tech support at T-88. The people at SystemThree even pulled some samples that matched my batch numbers and tested. They said they were fine.
I think the issue ended up to be me! I am expecting more from T-88 than it will do. I am used to using CA glues with Model Airplanes. Balsa to balsa with CA in the joints will never break anywhere near the glue joint. With some recommendations of my local EAA chapter and a few samples from others, my glue seems normal other than the viscosity. I did find that putting epoxy on both surfaces and heating it before putting them together helped. I also found that gusset blocks ARE the strength of the joint. We could break joints easily by hand without gussets, but with gussets I could barely break them by kicking them. -- Brad Payne www.n494bp.com bradleyspa...@gmail.com
