Disregard the top longerons altogether and use the firewall to set
boat level and set wing and tail incidence as suggested in the
plans. With the firewall plumb ( boat level ) the forward spar
should also be plumb. If the wing ribs are drawn correctly, cut
correctly, and installed correctly, everything should work out. If
you check closely, the firewall will not be plumb if you level using
the longerons as the top of the firewall will pull back at the top
when the longerons spread. Another reason to use the firewall to set
level of the airframe. If you need additional info to clear this up,

The "V" braces appear to be added in the 2S supplement. The do not
appear on my KR2 plans or else I missed them. No big deal I guess as
my KR has 350+ hours now and is still holding together.
