I have a fairly stock KR2 with a Diehl fixed conventional gear, and will not say that it is "impossible", just not "predictable". I have done it once, but could never repeat it. Wheel landings feel more safe anyway. The stall speed seems to vary on each KR, as you would expect with the weight and wing variances.
