On my kr there is a pull-push handle not unlike a throttle control that 
moves the landing light up and down, it is also set up with a high and low 
beam. Just a thought, its lighter than a motor would be and is completely 
adjustable.

With a little engineering you could use a motor from a car mirror and make 
it adjustable for taxi and landing.
