Sent: Tuesday, November 15, 2011 5:59 PM Subject: My KR Hi Mark, I have lately been giving some thought to departing with the KR. I had tried to submit the lower portion of this E-mail to the KR net, but I'm not sure that I was successful. I'm not sure that I have been updating myself with the list. I have not tried to place the plane on Barnstormers or any where else. I was thinking that I might try getting some input from the net first to see what it's worth. Here is what I tried to submit. If you like, or if you can, you can reconnect me. If not, perhaps you can see to it that this gets posted Hello to everyone on the net. As I remember Fridays are the for sale days. I have pondered selling my KR for a few years now. http://www.kr-2.orobbins.com/. I have not flown Tweety in 6 years. It makes me sad to even think about it. But It has sat in the back yard for a few years and if I don't find it a good home soon, time and elements will destroy it. We had a lot of fun and made a lot of friends in the KR community. There have always been slicker, prettier, faster KR's out there, but since our first flight in 1985, it was always a blast. She needs some work to get back in the air. Those who know me probably remember that my cam gear failed on the way home from the gathering in 05. I never completed the reassembly of the engine and it still sits on top of my work bench. The fuselage is outside and the wings are in my work room. I'm sure a few interesting creatures have taken up living in the fuselage. It's still fully equipped. I really can't afford to throw money into the sky on my SS income. This is only a half hearted effort at selling the KR, perhaps just to test the interest of others and determine it's value AS IS. I have collected over 1400 e-mails in the past few years and did a search to see who was selling what and for how much. Anyone with any interest in a restorable KR should go to my web site and see the plane. I won't give it away, so don't ask or insult me with any ridiculous offers.
