Similar to Roger, I have been plagued by the Cheng Shin Lamb 11-400x5 tires going flat for unknown reasons, even with the 8 ply tires.
My KR is 650 lbs empty, takeoff solo is about 925 lbs, Max gross is 1150; almost every 6-12 months on the dot, I would get a flat tire with almost no indication as to why; no hard landings, flights above gross, etc. I recently switched to Aero Classic 11x400-5 tires (see below for the link), which are rated for up to 650 lbs (vice 475 for the Lamb 8-ply tires) and 100 mph. So far, these have appeared to have solved my flat tire problems, if you don’t mind a slightly rougher taxi/takeoff/landing. https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/lgpages/aero_rib_11_400.php Very Respectfully.
