Changing the WCID parameter from 5 seconds to 0 seconds on the TVS120
VPS did the trick. No modifications to the KXTD were required.  Thanks

For the future, here are the steps:
  1.  Login to the TVS
  2.  Select '3 Utility command'
  3.  Enter "WCID" and press return
  4.  Enter "0" and press return
  5.  Press backslash until you exited all menus
  Done.

Thanks again guys - waiting two or three rings has bugged me forever.
