That type of blinking means there is a problem with the software, it is corrupted. I had this issue with a TVS200 and it happened 2 times to the same client. Panasonic sent reps out to the site with me and when they took the unit back to the shop at Panasonic Headquarters, they found the drive to be good, but the software became corrupted.
We found a power issue in the building and once I installed a hefty UPS on the unit, all was well. The faulty unit was also fine once they reloaded the software. 6 or 7 quick blinks with a pause means there is an issue with the software and requires Panasonic Repair.
