I think, on the 824, since it can take analog extensions, if you used a spare "real" port, the system would accept it (even though there was no phone plugged in). But since 125 is out of the range it expects, it will not recognize it. That is to say- the TVA will accept it as a mailbox, but the 824 considers it invalid.
If you have no more free extension ports, then Carmen's suggestion will work. But if you can use a spare existing port, then the voicemail transfer should work ok with it.
