Well, I thought my problem was solved....
I set up a test system here in the shop, works fine if the auto attendant
answers the call, but if a real person answers and does the transfer, it
only forwards once, then returns the caller to the person who answered the
call...that is it doesn't go to VM.
Please....Any other thoughts or ideas would be a great help!

On the digitals (and I presume the 824 would work the same) when you
forward, the follow-on-id (the thing that determines which mailbox
gets the call) stays set for the original extension.
So all you should have to do is forward 102 na to 103, and have 103
fwd b/na to voicemail. The caller should end up in mailbox 102.
