I've set up 3 device notifications for an Air Conditioning company for their
emergency notification mailbox.
They wanted a way to call a beeper first, then wait about 10 minutes for the
tech to call in before trying to call the supervisor's cell phone, then wait
another 5 minutes before calling the boss's cell phone.
I found no way to set the delay between notifications, I could only find the
way to set the delay between attempts within each one device.
Anyone know a way around this?
What we ended up with is
It is set to call beeper 3 attempts with 5 minutes delay between attempts.
That give 1 beep, wait 5 min, beep again, wait 5 min, beep 3rd time
It will then call the cell phone immediately after the 3rd beep.
it will wait 5 min for another cell phone attempt then immediately call the
bosses cell phone (and try him a bunch of times if he doesn't answer).
That basically works ok, but they would have liked to have a set delay after
calling the first beeper to give the tech on-duty enough time to call in.
Another thing noted- I set a phantom ext. and box 100 for the emergency
calls with mwl 100 on the receptionist phone. The MWL does not light until
after the system has tried to make the other device notifications. Is there
a way to alter that so the light can light up promptly?
