Capabilities are very much like pointers. Invalidating them doesn't do anything to the "pointer" itself, but to the object it points to. So it says: pointers to here can no longer be used. If anyone else will later try anyway, the object will refuse it. It doesn't actually do anything to the other copies. If it would, it could potentially take ages to complete.
