Hi, I'm back and going thru lots of emails. This just came in
and I see a couple of earlier requests. I wouldn't send it out if it
asked you to go join a picket line, but it's an email, a truly-deserved
accounting, IMO, and lots of you agree. I didn't plan it, but not a bad
way to say "I'm back." If you love the gropenator or are of the male
persuasion, sit this one out.
Ed

Open Letter to the Voters of California:

We are California women, including registered Democrats, Republicans,
Independents, and Greens.

We are united in this message to California voters, politicians, and the press:

If Foley is gone, and Hastert may go, why give Arnold Schwarzenegger a pass and
re-elect him as Governor?

"I am very glad Foley resigned right away, and I said also if anyone else knew
about it they should resign. It's inexcusable." -- Schwarzenegger 10/6/06

We believe the Governor's words and deeds are that of a sexual predator, liar,
and a hypocrite. It is inexcusable, and we do not give him a pass.

We remember the 16 brave women who agreed to tell their stories to the Los
Angeles Times in 2003. Most of them accused Schwarzenegger of committing acts
of sexual battery, which is a criminal offense.

We remember that since he was elected, several women have come forward to say
they were minors (15 and 16 year-olds) when Schwarzenegger approached them:

Actress Paid Not to Talk of Schwarzenegger Affair
Washington Post - August 13, 2005
www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/08/12/AR2005081201651.html
A former child-actress says she had sex with Schwarzenegger in 1975 (when she
was 16) and was paid not to talk about it.

Venice Teen Recalls A Day in the Life of the Terminator
Free Venice Beachhead - January 2004
www.freevenice.org/Beachhead/%20%20Jan2004/Page1.html
A then 15-year-old Venice high school student said while waiting at a bus stop,
Schwarzenegger approached her while he masturbated in his car.

We remember Schwarzenegger bragging he was "kicking their butts" - of
California nurses who challenged his attempts to dismantle the nurse-to-patient
ratio in 2004.

We remember the audiotape that surfaced this fall with Schwarzenegger referring
to a Latina lawmaker, saying that she had "black blood" mixed with "Latino
blood," which he said equals "hot".

For those who missed the LA Times series published in 2003 or need a reminder,
here are some of the highlights:

In interviews with the LA Times, three of the women said Schwarzenegger grabbed
their breasts. A fourth said he reached under her skirt and gripped her
buttocks.

A fifth woman said Schwarzenegger grabbed her and tried to remove her bathing
suit while in a hotel elevator.

The next woman said Schwarzenegger pinned her to his chest and spanked her
shortly after she met him at a West LA post-production studio in 2000.

A waitress at a cafe reported that Schwarzenegger beckoned her to his side when
she was serving him and his guests and said 'I want you to do a favor for me.
I want you to go in the bathroom, stick your finger in your [vagina], and bring
it out to me.'

Another woman who worked on the movie "Predator" in 1986 said Schwarzenegger
followed her into a bathroom on a studio lot and grabbed her from behind, “He
clamped his right hand over my boob and was wrestling with me... He wouldn't
let go. I fought him. The size of his biceps coming across my chest, they were
enormous. I couldn't get away from him... Any time you make a woman feel that
vulnerable or that overpowered, it changes you forever."

Many survivors of sexual battery suffer the same long-term psychological
post-traumatic symptoms as those who have experienced rape or sexual assault
that includes penetration.

The California Penal Code describes sexual battery as any unwanted touching of
an intimate part of another person for the purpose of sexual arousal.
"Touching" means physical contact with another person whether the individuals
involved are clothed or unclothed. "Intimate part" means the sexual organ,
anus, groin or buttocks of any person, and the breast of a female. (Penal Code
Section 243.4.)]

Sexual battery is a Megan's Law registerable sex offense in California.

We don't give him a pass just because he is The Terminator. In our book he is
The Predator.

Foley’s Gone, Hastert Should Go, and Schwarzenegger Should Go Too.
