(snip) I wonder if you also realize how expensive it is to ship things in general. (snip) Yes, shipping can be expensive. But the WAY some companies figure shipping costs drives me nuts. I don't mind companies that charge by weight and size (this is how it should be), but I REFUSE to buy from those companies that charge freight based on the COST of the item.
A sweater that cost $75 should cost less to ship than a car part that weight 5 times a much but only costs $20, but some companies will charge more for the sweater. Just a thought.
