Dear Friends,
Last night was the opening night of our current run of Nunsense, in
which I am the Musical Director. The show was a fabulous success.
There was only one very awkward moment when one of those massive spot
lights moved slightly and ended up directly in my eyes completely
blinding me. It was right in the middle of one of the big musical
numbers and I was forced to duck down behind my music in order to be
able to read it and continue playing on the Clavinova. It took them
about 2 songs to fix the problem. Thank God the rest of the band was
able to carry on.
5 nights to go
