I know it is early in the morning, but I suddenly realised that I have several different postcards of three different lacemaker monuments in Spain, now I cannot find the original E-mail from what region in Spain Arachne friends would like to see the pictures of the monuments. I can't believe I am the only one lucky enough to have these.
One is a 'bronze' looking sculpture - reverse of postcard just says The Lacemaker Barcelona One is a white marble Lacemaker sitting on a very large block/platform of marble - Almagro One is in stone - the lacemaker sitting on a very large block/platform of stone, not as high as the marble statue, this lady has a headdress, shorter dress, and boots on her feet - Camarinas - Galicia The first two sculptures are definitely more elegant, but even so, how wonderful to have three sculptures of a Lacemaker??? I don't know Spain, so if these are the missing monuments that you would like to see, someone please E-mail me, and I will ask my husband to scan them in for you all, if not, I too am interested in seeing even more sculptures in spain of other lacemakers.
