If the pattern is 2mm diagonal, it's only 1.41 straight, so 2.82mm between the footside pins (in torchon) so Fil a Dentell will be WAY too thick, so will Madeira 30. You'll need something like 45 wraps/cm. Bart & Francis do a Schappe silk 210/2 that size, and Piper's spun silk 210 /2 is 46 w/cm.

Cottons of that sort of thickness are Brok 100/3 (44 w/cm), Brok 120/3 (46 w/cm) Egyptian gassed 70/2 (46 w/cm) and Presencia Finca 80
