I finally found the close-ups of that lace under discussion. I agree it is definitely hand made bobbin lace, but it is not Binche. The ground is 5 hole (Flanders) and the clothwork has gimp. That makes it Flanders/Mechlin. A lacemaker's definition would be Flanders. But it does have some complex fillings which are quite interesting. Because of the turned corner the date would be late 19th - early 20th century. Lorelei
