I want to purchase some new coloured threads but while I am ordering I want
to buy some white thread to keep to hand ready for other projects.
I have used and like Brok and Egyptian 36/2 which I like for the crispness
and slight sheen on the finished lace and wonder what other, (readily
available without a mortgage), threads about the same wpc there are on the
market in the UK that others have used and find work up in a similar way.
I have lots of white threads, Empress Mills cotton, DMC cordonet of various
thicknesses, broder machine, each have a place, but after making a couple of
special pieces with the sheen type thread rather than the dull flat cotton,
I would like recommendations for similar. Often slightly more or slightly
less wpc wont matter as I can scale the pattern to work with it.
