There is so much information in your book, Catherine, that I am sure a black
& white copy would be fine. People are after your knowledge, and ability to
pass on that knowledge, rather than look at coloured photos!!!

I think getting the information out there is more important, so I say yes to
black & white, - rather than no book at all.

I personally, can't imagine life without the book!!, and I know that in my
recent classes in USA a couple of copies were produced in class and referred
to, and the books were passed around, and there were lots of "where can I
get a copy" questions!!

It is a much needed resource, and just a plain copy would be much
appreciated by a lot of needlelacers.

By the way, --I have just completed a 2 day class with Jean Leader, and
loved every minute of it. I struggled with an Old Bucks Point pattern, -
and got totally tied in knots with kat stitch ground, which I haven't done
for many years!! I eventually got it sorted out, and managed to work out
the gimped sprig within the ground, and even got the head side started. It
is a wide piece and I need more pairs of bobbins...!!! ( I have well over
70 pairs on the pillow already!!

I think this is the first Bucks Point class I have ever been to!! After 30
years of lacemaking, I have only worked this lace from books, so I have
learned quite a few tricks, and how to "make it work"!!!
Wonderful!!
