In my opinion, SMILE sounds like a sensible thing to try out for the time being. By the time Clay reaches senility (if she ever does, and, whatever she says, she is one of the most capable people I know) I'm sure someone else will be prepared to take it on - or there will be some better/ different options out there anyway.
As there's a free trial period, it sounds as if there's no loss in trying it out, and seeing if all our separate folders upload.
If we need to move to a new site, it would probably be best if those of us who have uploaded photos, uploaded them to a new site, rather than going to the effort of downloading and moving them. I know some of mine have been up there for years, and don't need to be there any more, as far as I'm concerned. Maybe I should go to the effort of uploading more recent work, as I realise now that I haven't put any of that on for ages
