Retirement. They all promised me when retirement was due, I'd be doing so much with my lace. I'd have oodles of time To plan and create, And have projects all over the place.
But then the day came, And I planned to sit down With all of that thread that I'd bought. With pins and my pillows And bobbins galore And great piles of books just to sort.
