It looks like it's some kind of bot and for now all nicknames are
^11.*99$ but if the bot changes it's settings, one could easily add
new regexps to the array.
Maybe a bit paranoid, do you think this is a random bot Evan?
If you think not then spammer is probably on this mailing list if he
or she is serious about spamming laconi.ca. With lots of novice
tecchies installing the software (myself included there), I guess it
would be a good target.

How do twitter handle spam? Is it mostly manual or automated filtering?
