Hi, Michael > Are you sure the AP is in shared_key authmode? Yes. > wificonfig -i bcmndis0 connect GHRNET This command give me a mesage like "/usr/sbin/wificonfig: failed to connect to profile 'GHRWIFI' " > If it fail again, please double check AP setting, > and disable the WEP encryption shared_key authmode at AP side > then do the connect with inetmenu. I probe this several days ago and connection unsuccess (same error msg) Last night, I probe with make a snoop in the bcmndis0 and run ethereal in HostAP side. Maybe, if i perform a truss command, I thought that it could see what problem is ocurring. With this info could debug more deeply into the trouble. Great was my surprise when not seeing activity in the card. I think, the key is here: " Aug 15 00:06:43 solaris-devx /sbin/dhcpagent[1107]: [ID 116611 daemon.error] interface bcmndis0 has gone down ". The dhcpagent cant take control of bcmndis0, the device falls. What do you think about?.
