# cat resolv.conf nameserver 192.168.1.253 nameserver 192.168.1.254 I was trying to figure out what should go there. When I nslookup localhost from my vista box it looks like this:
C:\Users\me>nslookup localhost Server: home Address: 192.168.1.254:53 Name: localhost.gateway.2wire.net Address: 127.0.0.1 I was having a hard time figuring out what exactly the name name server my router uses. I thought dhcp should choose that for me? I'm really a beginner at anything networking related.
