That's fair, for sure, and true equality. I just feel there is nothing
to be gained by a society that executes its women. How far are we from
executing our children? On the threshold IMO, according to recent
changes in the law in some states where kids who commit certain crimes
are tried as adults. I have never believed in using capital punishment
for revenge (except for OJ Simpson where I got very emotionally
involved), but for the public good.
Mrs. Buenoano's execution is no loss, but we are just a bit further down
the road toward a callous and completely inhumane system of justice it
seems to me.
